Being a mom and trying to juggle a career with family life is never an easy thing to do.
As a woman, especially for those who get married and has a baby, it’s frazzled to balance the work and family. Obviously, the family is fundamentally important for anyone, but work is also a necessary pursuing item to us. Here are some tips to liberate women from family and work in some degree.
1. When you are with them, just be with them.
Try to avoid multitasking, especially when spending time with your children. Focus on your kids’ interests such as friends, classes, and hobbies. Rather than dwell on how you’re not with your child, think about how your role in the company is befitting the family.
2. Set priorities for the family.
What tasks are essential for the health and safety of the family members? What tasks are less
important at this point in your family’s life? How can the family be organized to meet the needs of its members? What needs to be done daily? What can be done monthly or on a specific weekend? Hold weekly family meetings to review the chores assigned to each family member. Give praise for accomplishing tasks for the week. Re-evaluate chores based on the activities for the coming week.
3. Build your team at work.
Of course, you want to have a rapport with co-workers, but numerous email exchanges, casual Internet surfing, gossiping, and long lunches are distractions that will make you less productive. Focus on your tasks at work and talk to coworkers during breaks or lunchtime.
4. Learn to comfort yourself.
If you feel tired or stressed out, you can do the following stuff to comfort yourself, like practice mindfulness, listen to soothing music, reach out to people you trust to support you, treat yourself with consideration and care, visualize a peaceful image.
5. List out your achievements.
It will instantly boost your confidence and help you realize how much you have achieved when you list out your achievements.
